These two new homemade baby outfits are made for the Stitching Creatief voor Babyspulletjes. The Fibre Mood Blake, a cute skinny baby pants is used for all pants except one. The LMV Bo romper is used to make all the T-shirts.
Fabrics for both outfits
At the beginning of this year someone offered me a big box with remnants to make baby clothes for charity. I first made all kind of combinaties with all my leftovers and some other given to me fabrics.
I still have a few finished Flosstyle Babies First Toys. The dino will be the toy that will go with this green outfit. This set has two pants, three T-shirts, two bibs and one beanie. One T-shirt and the beanie have a heart decoration that is sewn om the fabric with a small zigzag stitch.
The pink outfit is a combination of light lilac, pink and dark pink. This pink outfit has one harem pants with feet and the other pants are made of the Fibre Mood Blake broekje, two Bo T-shirtjes, two bibs and a beanie. I also added a heart to a T-shirt and a bib. I designed the soft toy: a sleeping star with a baby face. This soft toy has a rattle inside that makes a soft sound.
Both baby outfits are made with the serger and coverstitch machine. Flatlock seaming, rolled hem, lock stitch to sew them together and a double coverstitch for the elastic tunnels.
The bibs and soft toys are made with a sewing machine.

Two new homemade baby outfits
This is my third donation for the Stichting Creatief voor Babyspulletjes. It’s a great way to use leftovers and to give expecting parents something new that never has been worn.
I’ve already made some new combinations and also have some great ideas for some next to sew baby outfit donations.
