The Elle Puls Bluse Sydney in details
This Elle Puls Bluse Sydney has a V-shaped slit at the front. Each breast pocket has a flap and are placed in such a way that the darts aren’t immediately visible. The shoulder yoke and back plaid are referring to a classical male dress shirt.
Sleeves are slightly increasing to the hem and can be finished with a cuff or a casing with elastic. The gathered sleeve will give the Bluse Sydney will have a beautiful feminine look. This Bluse Sydney can be made from a cotton or linen but viscose or silk are also a perfect choice although a little bit more challenging.
Mijn versie van de Elle Puls Bluse Sydney
You already saw my fabric. The Style Arc Blaire Shirt is made of the same. It’s a thin and light weighted viscose stof that I bought for the coming Autumn. My version is in size 34 and has breast pockets with flaps and sleeves with cuffs. For some stiffness flaps, pocket fold and neckline facings have interfacing.
The shoulder yoke is attached to the back panel using the burrito method. This method will give a beautiful and clean finish on the inside. This works perfect for dress shirt for men and boys as well.

My experience with the Elle Puls Bluse Sydney
I had another great experience with this new Elle Puls pattern. It was a pleasure to make this Bluse. I’ll definitively make this Blue Sydney again in a plain fabric and skip the center front seam.
